Business development center offers free business consulting at Osage City, Burlington

The Emporia State University Kansas Small Business Development Center will have a small business consultant in Osage City and Burlington this summer, available for any small business owners or individuals wanting to start a business.

Business owners or entrepreneurs who would like to discuss issues concerning existing businesses or startup businesses are invited to participate in the free and confidential consulting services.

Participants are asked to make an appointment at least two days in advance for the date and location most convenient. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact KSBDC at 620-341-5308.

The small business consultant will be available at these dates and locations:

  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 21 – Osage County Economic Development, 604 Market St., Osage City
  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 27 – Coffey County Economic Development, 110 S. Sixth St, Room 5, Burlington
  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 18 – Osage County Economic Development, 604 Market St., Osage City
  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 24 – Coffey County Economic Development, 110 S. Sixth St, Room 5, Burlington
  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 15 – Osage County Economic Development, 604 Market St., Osage City
  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 28 – Coffey County Economic Development, 110 S. Sixth St, Room 5, Burlington

KSBDC also periodically offers startup and other low-cost or no-cost workshops on topics for small businesses, some which can be accessed at www.emporia.edu/sbdc.
