Democratic candidates to host meet and greet reception at Overbrook

Democratic candidates running for offices that represent all or parts of Osage County will host a meet and greet reception 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 18, at the Overbrook Public Library, 317 Maple St. The public is invited to attend.

Democratic candidates running for offices that represent Osage County have been invited, and those who have confirmed attendance at the time of this release include: Patrick Wiesner, U.S. Senate; Britani Potter, U.S. House of Representatives; Senator Anthony Hensley, Kansas Senate District 19; Renae Hansen, Kansas House District 54; Kelly Atherton and Teresa Briggs, Kansas House District 76; Ann Mah, Kansas State Board of Education; and Jim Foster, Osage County Commission.

The reception will provide an opportunity for the public to meet with candidates, ask questions, and share their concerns.
