Lyndon Leaders 4-H Club invites all to enjoy sunflowers; sponsors photo contest

By Leanne Shoup, Club Reporter

Be sure to stop by the Lyndon Leader 4-H sunflower field located eight miles north of Lyndon on U.S. Highway 75. The flowers will be in full bloom until the end of August, so come enjoy the view, take some photos, and pick some flowers.

The Lyndon Leaders 4-Hers are adding a little incentive to visit the sunflower fields – a photo contest. That’s right, visit the beautiful landscape, capture your favorite moments and enter your photos for a chance to win.

How to enter: Photo entries should be sent in .jpeg format to [email protected] on or before Sept. 1. Lyndon Leaders 4-H will utilize social media, Facebook and Instagram to judge photographs. Judging will begin on social media platforms on Aug. 22 and end on Sept. 10. The photos with the most likes, comments or reposts will win. First place receives a $25 gift card; second place receives a $20 gift card.
