The August meeting for the Lyndon Leaders 4-H club included a little community service and fun! Members gathered together, pulled weeds and trimmed plants in the Lyndon school landscaping. They added some finishing touches, donating and applying new mulch around all the plants, just in time for back-to-school enrollment the following week.

After working up a sweat, the club headed to the Lyndon pool and spent the rest of the evening going for a swim and having fun with fellow 4-H members. This was a celebration for all their hard work as they wrap up their 2015-2016 year.

Congratulations to all of our members for their awards received at the county fairs, and for all the community service hours they put in to make our town a better place.
