ACT Ottawa: Community theater gets spooky during “Night of One Acts”

092616-oneacts_350For those who are ready to start the Halloween season with something spooky and fun, here’s an invitation to spend the evening with Franklin County’s community theater group.

ACT Ottawa will present the tale of “The Monkey’s Paw” by Jacobs and Parker, “The Red Lamp” by Hilliard Booth, and Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, and Saturday, Oct. 8; doors open at 6:30 p.m. for seating. There will also be a dinner theater offered Saturday, Oct. 8, with doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6 p.m. meal; reservations required.

The run will close with a matinee show at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, with doors open at 2:30 p.m.

The play will be presented at Ottawa Municipal Auditorium, 301 S. Hickory St.
