Lyndon Leaders plan giving for the season of thanks

The Lyndon Leaders 4-H Club had their monthly meeting on Oct. 9, 2016. The majority of the meeting consisted of the election of new officers for the upcoming 2016-2017 4-H year. The newly elected officers are as follows: Kaelin Bones, president; Brayden Marcotte, vice president; Ryan Bones, secretary; Tara Green, treasurer; Leanne Shoup, reporter; Ethan Kneisler, junior vice president; Tara Green, junior secretary; Ethan Kneisler, 4-H Council representative.

New business concluded with a motion to donate non-perishable Thanksgiving food items for Help House in Lyndon, and buying candy for the trunk-or-treat that will be held at Jones Park on4:30-6 p.m. Oct. 30. The next meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13, 2016, in the Lyndon High School cafeteria, which will be an exchange meeting with the Melvern Jr. Highline 4-H Club. Anyone interested in joining 4-H is welcome to attend.
