Osage City Kiwanis Club kicks off 2016 Toys for Tots Christmas campaign

The Osage City Kiwanis has joined with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and  Marine Corps League for the 2016 Osage City Toys for Tots drive.

102716-tft-train-toyNew, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the following Osage City locations until Dec. 7: Dollar General Store, McCoy’s Steren Electronics, Osage City Elementary School office, Osage City Public Library, ECKAN, and State Farm Insurance. Some special promotions will be held at various locations in conjunction with the toy drive. Suggested age range for toys are 3-10 years of age for both boys and girls.

Toys can also be delivered at the Osage City Middle School basketball game that starts at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 14. On Saturday, Nov. 26, the date of Christmas on Market Street activities, additional drop sites and times will be 7-10 a.m. at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the Osage County Senior Center, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at State Farm Insurance. Also the Christmas on Market Street parade that starts at 6 p.m. will feature empty roaming tubs in which toys can be deposited as they go by.

Osage City toy distribution to tots with accompanying parent will take place beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Osage City Public Library’s community room and lasting until available toys are distributed.
