Wellness checks available to senior center visitors

Submitted by Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

Free health and wellness checks are offered at the Osage County Senior Center each month. On June 12, the Osage County Health Department will be here to do wellness checks, which includes vital signs and glucose testing, plus for $10 they do a foot care clinic by appointment. On the third Friday of each month, Ediger Hearing Aid Service will test your hearing for free, PRN Home Health and Hospice does free wellness checks, and Home Town Health Care does a $10 foot care clinic.

We are very lucky to have these services available, and hopefully many of you will take advantage. Call the senior center at 785-528-4906 if you have any questions or are ready to set up an appointment.
