Veterans services ‘office on wheels’ to make stops in Osage County

120216-va-vanThe Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs Enhanced Mobile Services Van will be visiting Osage County three days in December. The van, which serves as a veterans services office on wheels, will be at:

  • Overbrook Swimming Pool, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 12
  • Carbondale, Third and Main streets, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 13
  • Melvern Circle L Convenience Store, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 14

The Kansas Enhanced Veteran Service Program makes applying for VA benefits more accessible to veterans and eligible family members. The fully equipped and handicap-accessible van sets up shop at designated locations in communities or at special events throughout the state.
