LYNDON, Kan. – Lynda Gayle Tincher, 67, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka, Kan. She was born on Jan. 30, 1950, in Newton, Kan., the daughter of Walter and Mildred Martin Bradshaw.
Lynda grew up in Newton and moved to the Melvern and Lyndon, Kan., area in 1975. She had lived east of Lyndon since 1991.
Lynda had worked as a meat wrapper and grocery clerk at the Lyndon Thriftway for many years.
On March 30, 1975, Lynda was married to Tom Tincher, in Wichita.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred, and a brother, Sherry Bradshaw.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Tom, of the home; two sons, Eric (LuAnn) Tincher, Lyndon, and Bryan Tincher (Katrina Little), Osage City, Kan.; two brothers, Martin (Jo) Bradshaw, of New Mexico, and Wally (Patty) Bradshaw, of New Jersey; stepmother, Rita Bradshaw, Newton; and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church, southeast of Lyndon. The family will receive friends following services at the church. Inurnment will be in the Vassar Cemetery at a later date.
