Osage County Democrats are getting organized ahead of the 2018 elections and are scheduling meetings open to anyone interested in attending. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Four Corners Restaurant, Scranton, Kan.

The group has selected an executive committee for Osage County, which includes Dwight Moore as chairman, Pat Lira, vice chairman, and Jan Boggs, secretary/treasurer.

The purpose of the next meeting will be organizing for the 2018 elections and beyond, working on identifying precinct leaders in the county, and identifying opportunities for outreach to the community.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m., but dinner and fellowship begins at 6 p.m., with everybody responsible for their own meal.
