Regina Katherine McKinnon, 85, Topeka: Feb. 12, 1932 – June 3, 2017

TOPEKA, Kan. – Regina (Jeanne) Katherine McKinnon. 85, of Topeka, Kan., died on June 3, 2017 at the Topeka Presbyterian Manor. Jeanne was born in Frankfort, Kan., on Feb. 12, 1932, the daughter of John Elmer and Anna Cecelia (Fox) Lolley.

Jeanne was employed as a clerk for the Hat Box, which sold women’s accessories prior to her retirement. She bowled on several bowling leagues, enjoyed traveling and RV camping, and ballroom dancing, and was an avid reader.

She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Jeanne married William “Bill” McKinnon in Wamego, Kan., on March 17, 1950. He survives of the home. She is also survived by their children, Michael William McKinnon (Cheryl) of Leaburg, Ore., Karen “Kari” Ramos (Trino), Topeka, Katherine “Kathy” Yvonne Fannin (Rick), Lyndon, Kan., and Christine “Chris” Lee Tenbrink (Jay), Harveyville, Kan.; her siblings, John E. Lolley Jr., Riley, Kan., and Patricia Conkwright, Manhattan, Kan.; and grandchildren, John McKinnon, William “Bill” McKinnon, Richard Ramos, Eric Ramos, T.J. Ramos, Kristen Fannin, Kirk Fannin, Craig Tenbrink, Jenna Tenbrink, Jared Tenbrink, Jason Root, Sean Root and Tyler Root, and 18 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Jeanne was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Weixelman, and a brother, Robert Lolley.

Jeanne was cremated. Her family will receive friends 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew Catholic Church at 10 a.m. A funeral luncheon will follow. Graveside inurnment will be in the Wamego Cemetery at 2 p.m.
