Update: Missing man found deceased in Osage County

Update 12:56 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017:  The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has reported that Leroy L. Fouts, 65, of Overbrook, has been found deceased in Osage County. No other information was released in the report from Osage County Undersheriff Jeff Johnson.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in locating Leroy L. Fouts, 65, of Overbrook, Kan., who was last seen by a family member around 2 p.m. July 5, 2017, near 205th Street and Shawnee Heights Road. Fouts had left his residence and was heading to an unknown destination.

Fouts is described as a white male, wearing glasses, black to gray hair, partially bald. He was driving a red 1998 Jeep Cherokee, with Kansas license tag number 385GFH, KSU Wildcat front plate, and rust spots on back passenger door.

Anyone with any information about Fouts or his whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 785-828-3121 or call 911.
