Summer’s almost here. Check out Osage City Parks and Recreation’s latest schedule of summer activities.

OSAGE CITY AQUATIC CENTER

–OCAC Pool Hours

—-May 25-August 11, Monday-Friday, 1-8pm, Saturday and Sunday, 1-6pm

—-August 13 – Labor Day, Saturday and Sunday, 1-6pm (includes Labor Day)

–Lap Swim, Monday-Friday, 7-8pm

–Daily Admission, $3 (Age 4 & Above)

–Age 3 & Below FREE

–Age 65 & Over FREE

–OCAC Swim Pass Booklets

—-Swim Booklets on sale at Osage City Hall and are available for purchase at OCAC.

—-10 Swim Card Booklet, $20

—-50 Swim Card Booklet, $50

–Deck and Pool Rental Reservation can be made with Corey Linton.

 

WATER AEROBICS

—-OCAC Pool

—- June 3 – July 29

—-Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30-7:30pm

—-Instructor, Marcy DeWitt

—-Cost, 1 Swim Card per person, per session or $3 per person, per session

 

SUMMER ART CAMPS

–Art Camp Instructor, Becky Weaver

—-Becky is the current K-12 Art Teacher for USD 420

–Camp Location, The Powell House, 704 S. Second Street, Osage City

–All classes are potentially messy – Students need to wear “play” clothes

–A minimum of four students is needed for each class to make.

–A child’s grade is their grade in the 2013 – 2014 school year.

–Art Camps are open to ALL students, not just those in USD 420.

Messy Fingers!

—-Pre-K & Kindergarten, June 17 & 18, 9-9:45am

—-Children will complete their project(s) using their fingers and other nontraditional matierals.

—-$12 each

Fun With Clay!

—-Pre-K & Kindergarten, June 19 & 20, 9-9:45am

—-Children will create masterpieces using air drying clay and/or polymer clay.

—-$12 each

RED CROSS SWIM LESSONS

Session Two, June 24-July 5

—-9-9:45am, Level 1, Pre-School III

—-10-10:45am, Level 3, 5, Pre-School II

—-11-11:45, Level 2, 4, Pre-School I

—-11-11:30, Parent Tot (6 mon-2 Yrs)

—-Signup deadline, June 17

Session Three, July 8-19

—-9-9:45am, Level 1, Pre-School III

—-10-10:45am, Level 3, 5, Pre-School II

—-11-11:45am, Level 2, 4, Pre-School I

—-11-11:30am, Parent Tot (6 mon-2 Yrs)

—-Signup deadline, July 1

–Cost is $25 per swimmer per session

–Pre-School classes are for children age 3-5.

–A minimum of 4 swimmers is needed for a class to make

Private Swim Lessons

—-Cost $40 per week (One Week=Five 30-Minute Lessons)
