The Osage County Republican Central Committee is offering two upcoming opportunities for the public to meet elected officials and candidates.

A legislative update featuring state representatives Ken Corbet and Eric Smith is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at LaMont Hill Restaurant, 22975 Highway 368, Vassar, Kan.

Then at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at the Scranton Tavern, downtown Scranton, the committee has scheduled a meet and greet event for 2nd Congressional District candidates Sen. Caryn Tyson, Rep. Kevin Jones, Sen. Steve Fitzgerald, and Vernon J. Fields.

Both meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
