Brian Wischropp, 46, Topeka: Nov. 13, 1970 – Oct. 20, 2017

TOPEKA, Kan. – Brian Wischropp, 46, passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka, Kan. He was born on Nov. 13, 1970, in Topeka, the son of David and Kathryn Tillman Wischropp.

Brian had lived in Lyndon, Kan., until sixth grade, then lived in Texas and back to Topeka and Meriden, Kan. He graduated from Jefferson West High School in 1989. He had lived in Arizona and Colorado and returned to Topeka in 1993.

Brian had been a service writer for the Noller Dealerships, and was a route driver for Hiland Dairy. He was a member of HOG and was a big fan of KU, the Chiefs and the Royals.

On June 19, 1993, Brian was married to Julie Brown, in Estes Park, Colo.

Brian is survived by his wife, Julie, son, Cory Wischropp, and daughter, Kristen Wischropp (Curtis), all of the home; mom and stepdad, Kathy and Phil Pingleton, Topeka; dad and stepmom, David and Kathy Wischropp, Topeka; two brothers, Brad Wischropp, Topeka, and Adam Wischropp, Longmont, Colo.; four stepbrothers, Jared Pingleton, Forest, Va., Evan Pingleton, Topeka, Ken Pingleton, Lawrence, Kan., and Bruce Hula, Council Grove, Kan.; two stepsisters, Kimberly Pingleton, San Francisco, Calif., and Traci Eddy, Lecompton, Kan.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church, 7433 SW 29th St., Topeka. Dress code for the service is casual and riding a Harley is welcome. The family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery.
