Local officers on campaign to ensure everyone wears seat belts every day

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office will be joining other Kansas law enforcement Oct. 30 to Nov. 3, 2017, in a seat belt enforcement campaign.

The sheriff’s office wants to make sure everyone, every day is wearing a seat belt. Seat belt enforcement is and will always be an important factor for the office. Seat belts save lives.

The sheriff’s office also has two trained child safety seat inspectors to ensure children are buckled correctly. For a car seat check, call the sheriff’s office at 785-828-3121 and a leave a message for Deputy Blake Reker or Deputy Kayla McNary. The deputies can come to your residence to assist in making sure children are properly restrained in your vehicles.
