Osage City Parks and Recreation takes to the court for youth basketball season this month, with signup deadline for third to sixth grade boys and girls fast approaching. Practice begins after Thanksgiving with games scheduled for all ages into the new year.
Christmas Arts and Crafts Workshop,

Youth Basketball, 1st and 2nd grade, coed
- Team Practice – January 8 and 15.
- Boys Practice, 6-7 p.m. or 7-8 p.m. (if needed), single grade team practices (half court).
- Girls Practice, all 1st/2nd girls practice as one group.
Game information, boys and girls
- Dates – January 22-February 19.
- Team/group practice, first 30-minutes.
- Game, second 30-minutes.
- Each game is two (2), 15-minute halves.
- Players receive a team shirt and participation award.
- Cost is $20 per player.
Signup deadline: December 18

- Time – 5-6 p.m.
- Location – Osage City Junior High and High School gyms.
