A general election will be conducted in Osage County on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, with the polls open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. The following city elections will be held; positions and candidates who filed for the positions are listed:

Burlingame

  • Mayor – Vikki DeMars, Ethan C. Greene
  • Two council seats – Michelle E. Mullinix, Kenna Burns

Carbondale

  • Three council seats – Justin Shreve

Melvern         

  • Mayor – Nancy Alley
  • Three council seats – Michael Bailey, Eric Vogeler

Lyndon

  • Three council seats – Ryan Kuhn, Darin W. Schmitt

Osage City

  • Mayor – Quintin J. Robert
  • Ward 1 – Bruce E. Schoepflin
  • Ward 2 – No candidate filed
  • Ward 3 – Jeanette Swarts
  • Ward 4 – Rebecca A. Brewer

Overbrook

  • Mayor – Jon Brady
  • Two council seats – Carol A. Baughman

Quenemo

  • Two council seats – Dennis Devin, Stephen M. Casteel

Scranton

  • Mayor – Keith R. Miner
  • Two council seats – Jack Mayfield, Rusty Morris, Val Corpening

Olivet

  • Mayor – No candidate filed
  • Five council seats – No candidate filed
