Charlotte Wolfe, Oct. 10, 1939 – Oct. 30, 2017; Calvin Wolfe, July 5, 1940 – Nov. 5, 2017

TOPEKA, Kan. – Charlotte Ellen Wolfe, 78, passed away on Oct. 30, 2017, at The Kelly House, Topeka, Kan. Charlotte was born on Oct. 10, 1939, in Winchester, Kan., daughter of Jess P. Fidler and Mary Barkley Filder.

She graduated from Perry High School. She worked for Jostens for 39 years.

Charlotte is preceded in death by both of her parents; one brother, Ralph Fidler; and a son, Jessie Boyer. She is survived by five sisters, Bess Milhauser, of Oregon, Judy Welch, Leavenworth, Kan., Mary Ann Briggs, Carbondale, Kan., Carol Gross, Topeka, and Debra Banfield, Barnes, Kan.

Calvin C. Wolfe Jr., 77, passed away on Nov. 5, 2017 at Midland Hospice House. Calvin was born on July 5, 1940, in Topeka, the son of Calvin Wolfe Sr. and Gladys Belle Wolfe.

Calvin graduated from Topeka High School. He worked for Jostens for 35 years.

Charlotte and Calvin were married on Feb. 16, 1980, in Oakland. Together they had six children.

Calvin was preceded in death by both of his parents; 11 brothers; and a sister, Naidain Wolfe. He is survived by a brother, Gene Wolfe, Tecumseh, Kan.

Together they are survived by three sons, Clayton Boyer, Jess Boyer, and James (Christeen) Wolfe, all of Topeka; three daughters, Candice Wilkens, Lawrence, Kan., Jeanice Bloom, Salina, Kan., and Robin Wolfe, Topeka; and 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held together at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Davidson Funeral Home; visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kelly House or Midland Hospice Care and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, KS 66608-1241.
