CARBONDALE, Kan. – Cynthia Lou Herr Booth, 66, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at her home in Carbondale, Kan. She was born on Feb. 3, 1951, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Rosabelle Herr.
Cindy grew up in Scranton, Kan., and Topeka and had lived in Carbondale for the last 49 years. Cindy worked for Essex Wire, in Topeka, for 24 years and had then worked for Party America.
On July 3, 1978, Cindy was married to Jerry Booth, in Miami, Okla.
Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, on March 31, 2013; her stepfather, Martin Harris; and a brother, Martin Harris.
Cindy is survived by her son, Dennis May, of Scranton; daughter, Traci Slottke, Carbondale; mother, Rosabelle Harris, Scranton; two brothers, Marion Harris, Carbondale, and Kenneth Harris, Burlingame, Kan.; two sisters, Darlene Bogren and Carroll Schooler, both of Scranton; and three grandchildren, Mason, Miley and Myles Slottke.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Carbondale Church of Christian Fellowship, 430 Commercial St., Carbondale. Burial will be in the Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, at Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, Kan.
