Warm up at the senior center for a break from never-ending winter

While it’s cold outside, it’s warm inside the Osage County Senior Center, and fun activities are always on the schedule. For instance, patrons can join in for bingo every Friday morning. No transportation? Feel free to use Osage County’s general public transportation services.   • Thursday, Feb. 22: Art and painting class 9 a.m.; Meals on Wheels ham and bean supper 5-7 p.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 23: Bingo 10-11:30 a.m.; cribbage at 12:15 a.m.
  • Monday, Feb. 26: Sewing 8 a.m.; exercise 10:30 a.m.; cribbage 12:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 27: Ceramics 8 a.m.; Mexican Train games 12:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 28: Sewing 8 a.m.; exercise 10:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, March 1: Tax day; art and painting classes cancelled.

On March 3 the bus will leave the center at 9 a.m., headed to Green Acres Restaurant for a breakfast buffet. Call for reservations at 785-528-4906.
