Howard Alvin Lynch, 101, Miller: Dec. 12, 1916 – April 16, 2018

MILLER, Kan. – Howard A. Lynch, 101, formerly of Miller, Kan., passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, at Rolling Hills Health and Rehab, in Topeka, Kan. Howard Alvin Lynch was born Dec. 12, 1916, in Miller, the son of Carl J. and Myrtle P. (Langley) Lynch.

Howard graduated from Miller High School. He was a lifelong farmer in the Miller area.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Howard was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Robert and William Lynch; and three sisters, Lucille Knudson, Edith Ward and Frances Nelson.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Miller Methodist Church or Miller Fire Department and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth St., Osage City, KS 66523. Condolences may be expressed at www.vanarsdalefs.com.
