Lyndon Library jump starts summer reading with fun events

Lyndon Carnegie Library’s summer reading program has started, and the following events have been scheduled:

Monday, June 11, Frontier Extension Office has Rockin Toddlers 10-11 a.m., ages 18 months  to 4 years.

Wednesday, June 13, the Topeka Zoo will be at the library 2:30-3:30 p.m., all ages welcome.

Thursday, June 14, in the afternoon, Frontier Extension Office will present a program on healthy snacks 3:30-5 p.m., for fourth to eighth graders.

Thursday, June 14, in the evening 6:30-8 p.m., the Frontier Extension office will present a program on electric pressure cookers for those 16 years old to adults.

Saturday, June 16, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., the library is having a book sale of children’s and young adult fiction and non-fiction.
