Plans in the works for July public transportation trips

Submitted by Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

We are in the planning stages of two rider appreciation trips in July, one to destinations in El Dorado on July 25, and an evening supper run to the Longhouse Buffet the evening of July 31.  A signup sheet and all of the details will be out for both trips by July 3. For more information or for reservations, contact the Osage County Senior Center at 785-528-4906.

We will also be running a bus between the Osage City school and a fireworks observation point the evening of July 12 during the Osage County Fair, at Osage City. The ride will be free, and the bus will leave the school parking lot immediately following the talent show and drop off folks south of the swimming pool to watch the Friday night fireworks. Then, after the show, the bus will be available to return riders to the school parking lot.
