Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 27 at 9:57 p.m. CDT until June 27 at 10:45 p.m. CDT by NWS Topeka

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Osage County, northern Coffey County, southern Lyon County until 10:45 p.m. At 9:55 p.m. severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Osage City to Emporia to Americus and moving southeast at 35 mph.

Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Impact expected is damage to roofs, siding and trees.

Locations impacted include Burlington, Neosho Rapids, Melvern Lake, Lebo, Hartford, Olivet, Beto Junction, Olpe, John Redmond Reservoir, New Strawn and Waverly. This includes the Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 121 and 125. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 139 and 161.
