Overbrook Overlook: Be aware of students walking to school

Back to school!

The Overbrook Police Department is reminding everyone that Aug. 20 was the first day of school for Santa Fe Trail students. Parents are advised to review safety rules with children. Everyone is asked to be extra aware of excited children who may forget to “look both ways” when crossing streets. (Note: We are especially grateful to our crossing guards and bus drivers who do their best to keep our children safe.)

Methodists serve up Tuesday Table beginning September

The Overbrook United Methodist Church will begin holding Tuesday Table again starting in September. Tuesday Table is held 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.

Reflective address markers for mailbox posts can be ordered through the local fire department. Order forms are available at OCFD No. 4 fire station, at Overbrook, or at Overbrook City Hall.
