Burlingame 4-H Club organizes Saturday food drive as community service project

The Burlingame 4-H Club is planning a food drive during the 48 hours of 4-H community service campaign, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018. Club members will be going door to door in Burlingame asking for donations. Donations may also be dropped off in the Burlingame Federated Church parking lot during this time period, or they may be left on the front porch for members to collect.

Things that would be good donations are peanut butter, canned fruit, cereal, boxes of macaroni and cheese, laundry detergent or dish soap, and things that are always needed. Any non-perishable item is welcome. All donations will benefit the Burlingame Federated Church Food Bank.

For more information, or to arrange pick up for a donation, call 785-224-9192.
