OCHS Theater presents ‘Grease’ on stage in Osage City

The Rydell High Class of 1959 will take the stage at Osage City High School this weekend. Grease, the popular Broadway and movie musical, will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 10, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in the OCHS auditorium.

The play features the classic songs from Grease, lots of dancing, going steady and teenage hijinks.

Starring as the Pink Ladies are Claire Crawford (Sandy), Olivia Camarena (Rizzo), Ashlyn McCoy (Marty), Elizabeth Lowery (Jan) and Jade Potter (Frenchy). The Burger Palace Boys are played by Jolson Robert (Danny), Adam Delekta (Kenickie), Coleton Mitchell (Sonny), Colton Williams (Roger), and Gavin DeBaun (Doody). Other featured cast members are Aliks Serna (Miss Lynch), Aleese Courtney (Patty Simcox), Tyler Sage (Eugene), Trenton Plinsky (Vince Fontaine), Britney Wilkins (Cha Cha), and Bryson Murphy (Teen Angel). Ensemble members are Alex Boner, Jerra Butterfield, Derrik Cooley, Nic Couch, Reid Crawford, Kate Heiserman, Leslie Hultgren, Amanda Kendall, Dani Kerns, Brock McCue, McKenzie McKinney, Blake Murphy, Lauren Phillips, Auralee Pritchard, Ryan Smith, and McKenna Stump.

Live music will also be featured during the show by The Tweed Tones, which includes Quintin Robert, JT Crawford and Jeremy Littrell.

Tickets are available at the door or can be purchased in advance at osagehs.seatyourself.biz. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students K-12.
