Public bus trips to visit El Dorado, Prairie Band Casino

Submitted by Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

The signup sheets are out for two July rider appreciation bus trips. On July 25, we will head for El Dorado for stops at the Kansas Oil Museum and the Butler County History Center, and the El Dorado Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Then the evening of July 31, we will go to the Longhouse Buffet at Prairie Band Casino for their 50/50 deal. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a really wonderful buffet meal at a great price. To take advantage of this deal you should sign up with a spouse, friend or relative. Call the Osage County Senior Center at 785-528-4906 to sign up or for more information.

Just a note on the bus trips: Before you sign up, always check your calendar for other obligations you might already have for that date. If you do have to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. We have to set these trips up, sometimes as much as a month ahead. So, cancellations can cause a predicament, can cost financially, and can jeopardize our relationship with the hosts at our destinations. If we have reached our limit on the number of riders that can be seated on the bus, there may be times that we cannot allow surprise patrons from going with us. We appreciate your consideration on these matters.
