Kenneth Dale Bunker, 75, Salina: April 27, 1943 – Nov. 20, 2018

SALINA, Kan. – Kenneth Dale Bunker, 75, of Salina, Kan., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018. He was born April 27, 1943, to Thomas and Frances Bunker, in Dorrance, Kan.

He married Claryce A. Toburen, on June 17, 1973, and was a devoted husband for 45 years. He worked in banking for 41 years, retiring in 2008. Raised on a farm, Ken later served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam conflict.

Ken is survived by his wife, Claryce; sister, Arlene White, Lyons, Kan.; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Nancy Bunker, Great Bend, Kan.; brother, Lynn Bunker, Houston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Betsy Bunker, Olathe, Kan.; son and daughter-in-law, Tim Bunker and Stephanie Summers, Frisco, Texas; and five grandchildren, Luke, Blake, Lily, Daphne and Phoebe.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 302 S. Seventh St., Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Lutheran World Relief or Dorrance Historical Society, sent in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, KS 67401-2686.
