Sheriff’s investigators serve search warrant, arrest Lyndon resident on drug charges

LYNDON, Kan. – The Osage County Sheriff’s Office reported in a Facebook post today that around 1:08 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, a search was conducted at a residence at 120A W. Seventh St., Lyndon, Kan., which resulted in the arrest of Dakota Lee Jiskra, 24, of the residence.

Jiskra was booked into the Osage County Jail, with charges submitted to the Osage County Attorney’s Office including distribution of a controlled substance, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, use of communication device to facilitate drug sales, criminal use of a firearm, no Kansas drug tax stamp, possession of depressant, and possession of paraphernalia.

The sheriff’s office’s social media post said the search warrant was executed after a yearlong investigation by sheriff’s office investigators. The post said the search recovered drugs, money, and firearms from the residence, but the sheriff’s office did not disclose quantities of each or specify the type of drugs recovered.

At the time of the post, bond had not been set for Jiskra.
