Summer’s winding down and fall sports are on the horizon. Finish up your summer fun at the Osage City Aquatic Center, then join with Osage City Parks and Recreation in getting ready for football, soccer, volleyball and cheer camps.
Osage City Aquatic Center
- OCAC Pool Hours: August 10 – Labor Day, Saturday and Sunday only, 1-6 p.m. (includes Labor Day).
- Daily admission, $3 (age 4 and above); age 3 and below free; age 65 and over free.
- OCAC Swim Pass Booklets – 50 swim card booklet, $50.
Youth Flag Football
Divisions – Pre-K/K, 1st/2nd grade. OCPR teams participate in the North Osage County Flag Football League.
- A player younger than 5 years of age on/before September 1, 2019 is too young for the Pre-K/K Division.
- Teams can start practice the week of August 26, if a coach is assigned to their team.
- League games are Sundays, in Burlingame.
- League season is Sept. 14-Oct. 12.
- Program fee is $30 per player.
- Players receive a team shirt and equipment is provided by OCPR.

Youth Soccer
Divisions – U6, U8, U10, All Divisions COED.
- Age date is Sept. 1, 2019.
- OCPR teams participate with Overbrook and Lyndon.
- Games are rotated between Overbrook, Lyndon and Osage City.
- Cost is $30 per player.
- OCPR players receive a team jersey, shorts, and socks.
- Players supply their own shin guard and cleated shoes.
- Team practice can start the week of August 26, if a coach is assigned.

Youth Volleyball Camp
Volleyball instructors, Chelsi Gardner and OCHS volleyball players.
- Open to ALL 3rd-6th graders in Osage County and the surrounding area.
- Players will learn floor positioning, passing, serving, setting, and attacking skills.
- All players receive a camp shirt and each 6th grader receives a special OCPR volleyball.
- Session dates and time – Wednesdays, Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25 – 6-7 p.m.
- Location, Osage City school gyms.
- $25 per person.

OCHS Cheer Camp
Camp instructors, Nicole Bailey and the OCHS cheer team.
September 24 and 26, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Osage City school gyms.
- Camp fee, $20 per person.
- Cheerleaders will learn three sideline cheers, one added cheer, and the OCHS School Song Cheer.
- Each cheerleader receives a camp shirt.
- Recommended practice clothes – shorts, sneakers, socks, T-shirt, Dress appropriately for the weather.
- Camp performance – Sept. 27 (OCHS football field).
- Performance with the OCHS cheer team during the first half of the game.
