David had lived in Ottawa, Kan., for nearly 30 years before moving to Lyndon in 1982. He held the job of maintenance supervisor for 16 years. He took great pride in the small town that is his family’s lifetime home.

David’s true passion was Harley Davidson motorcycles and riding with friends. He took great pride in the house that he built with the help of his family and friends.

On Dec. 8, 1982, David was married to Cathy Bronson Brecheisen, in Lyndon, Kan.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty; and by a brother, Michael Peterson.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church, southeast of Lyndon. Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon.
