The Burlingame community is holding a food drive to help stock the local food pantry, and all Burlingame residents can help. On Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, the Burlingame 4-H Club will be canvassing the town for food items and donations for Burlingame Federated Church’s food bank.

Items most needed are peanut butter, canned fruit and vegetables, cereal, boxes of macaroni and cheese, laundry detergent and dish soap.

Residents can participate by leaving non-perishable food donations on your front porch by 11 a.m.; give donations to door-to-door volunteers 12-2 p.m.; or drop off donations 12-2 p.m. to a volunteer stationed in the parking lot of the Federated Church, 322 S. Topeka Ave., Burlingame.
