Emergency culvert repair on K-31 on Oct. 1

The Kansas Department of Transportation is expected to begin an emergency culvert repair on state Highway 31, tomorrow, Oct. 1, 2019, at mile marker 10.5 to mile marker 11.5, weather permitting. The location is near the Osage and Wabaunsee county line.

Work will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and is expected to be completed in one day. Advance warning message boards have been installed at the K-31/K-99 junction and at the U.S. Highway 56/K-31 junction. K-31 will be closed during the project. Motorists should expect delays and take alternative routes.
