Cole Thompson has been a 4-H member for six years. He currently serves as recreational leader for the Willing Workers 4-H Club.

Projects he had at the fairs this year: Foods, art, beef, pigs and goats at the county fairs; and foods at the state fair.

His favorite 4-H activity: “I really enjoy cooking,” he said. “This year I won grand champion foods with my angel food cake at the Osage City fair.”

Cole said his favorite 4-H memory this year was working with his heifer. “In the end, all my hard work paid off when I won reserve champion junior beef showman and got to participate in the round robin at the Overbrook fair.”
