MdCV JH Stuco serves up cinnamon rolls and chili during the annual veterans dinner at Melvern.

On Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, the Marais des Cygnes Valley Junior High School student council held its 4th Annual Veteran’s Chili Dinner at the Melvern Community Center. For the dinner, JH Stuco served homemade chili and cinnamon rolls. Veterans were offered a free meal; free will donations were accepted from friends and families. All of the $500 raised will be given to the local American Legion post to help support its mission and the organization.
