Search continues for missing Lyndon man

Heskett,-RaleighThe Osage County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Raleigh D. Heskett, 67, of Lyndon, was seen at his home at 11 p.m. on July 14 where he was said to have suffered from a severe laceration to his right forearm that occurred that evening. The sheriff’s office reported he had severe blood loss and would not seek medical attention.

Heskett was later seen at a gas station in Lebo, in Coffey County, and was driving a brown 2002 GMC van, with Kansas license plate 417DCF.

Heskett is described as six feet tall and 200 pounds, with a grey beard and mustache. He has a panther and cobra tattoo on his left arm. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a black ball cap with “Convoy” written on it.

The sheriff’s office warns that if Heskett is located, he might need immediate medical attention.
