Lowell D. Billbe, 68, Topeka: Nov. 29, 1951 – Dec. 1, 2019

TOPEKA, Kan. – Lowell D. Billbe, 68, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at his home in Topeka, Kan. Lowell was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Topeka, the son of Wallace and Myrtle (Hamilton) Billbe.

Lowell graduated from Carbondale High School, Carbondale, Kan., in 1969.

He married Patti Abrams, Dec. 13, 1978.

Lowell worked at Hallmark Cards, in Topeka, for more than 32 years. He enjoyed bass fishing and working with wood.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Michael.

Lowell is survived by his wife, Patti, of more than 40 years; his mother, Myrtle McCullah, of Carbondale; two brothers, Stephen and Arnold Billbe, both of Auburn, Kan., and a sister, Joy Ross, Carbondale.

A memorial gathering will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka. Funeral meal will follow at the Teamsters Union Hall, 3600 Sardue, Building 1.
