OCPR Update: Dance clinic, BBQ, aquatic center employment opportunities

OCPR-logo-redOsage City Parks and Recreation will finish up winter with the Osage City High School dance clinic for dancers first through eighth grade, but spring is just around the corner as preparations are being made for the city’s annual BBQ festival, Smoke in the Spring. And though it seems too cold to think about the aquatic center, applications are now open for assistant pool manager, lifeguards and concession workers. 

OCHS Dance Clinic

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, and 3rd-8th grade
  • Practice, Feb. 5 and 6, 5:30-7pm, Osage City School gyms.
  • $25 per student.
  • Dancers will perform Feb. 11, during half-time of the OCHS Boys Varsity Game.
  • Fee includes a shirt for the performance.
  • Signup deadline is Feb. 3

  • Beer garden – 4-11 p.m.
  • Live music – “Chance Encounter” – 8-11 p.m. – OCPR Building
  • Fireworks display – 9 p.m.

OCAC Assistant Pool Manager, Lifeguards, Concession Workers

Assistant Pool Manager

OCPR is hiring for an OCAC Assistant Pool Manager Position.

  • Must be 18 to apply
  • Seasonal Part-Time Hourly Position – During the 2020 OCAC Season
  • Up to 39.5 hours per week
  • If hired, applicants must complete CPR and Lifeguard Training
