Donna Sue Smith, 66, Osage City: Oct. 24, 1953 – Feb. 18, 2020

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Donna Sue Smith, 66, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at her home in Osage City, Kan. Donna Sue Hoffman was born Oct. 24, 1953, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Arthur W. and Alta (Kiwitter) Hoffman.

She was married and divorced from Paul Mendoza and Alan Smith. Later she met Todd Lane and they spent many years together. Todd preceded her in death Oct. 7, 2016. She and Todd loved fishing, Nascar and garage sales together. 

Donna will be forever remembered by daughter, Paula Williams, Osage City; son, Jacob Smith, Kansas City; three sisters, Mary Bartley, Burlington, Kan., Anna Hoffman, Osage City, and Sand Bernhardt, Carbondale, Kan.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Monty Mendoza; and a brother, Billy Hoffman.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 29, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, Osage City. Family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
