Osage County confirms 8th COVID-19 case; 7 recovered

LYNDON, Kan. – Osage County has recorded its eighth positive COVID-19 case. The Osage County Health Department reported on social media June 3, 2020, the new case is a 62-year-old male who lives in the northern part of Osage County. He is reported as having no symptoms and the disease was confirmed from a routine test given prior to a procedure. The health department reported staff would be contacting anyone who has been in direct contact with the individual.

The department encouraged everyone to continue to observe six feet of social distance between non-household contacts and to wear a mask when in public places. All other positive cases in Osage County are reported as recovered. The health department said negative test results in the county continue to come in, averaging around 10-15 per day.
