OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Elizabeth Kerr Miller, 95, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Vintage Park Assisted Living, Osage City, Kan. She was born on Dec. 12, 1924, in Johnstown, Penn., the daughter of Percival and Jane Kerr Burrell.
Elizabeth, or Betty, as she was known, had lived many years in Peoria, Ill., and had been at Vintage Park for the last several years to be close to family. She had been a homemaker most of her life.
On Nov. 22, 1946, Betty was married to Elwyn Miller in Bloomington, Ill. To this union, two children were born. Elwyn preceded her in death on March 12, 1972. She married Ralph Spring, May 9, 2003, in Hamilton, Ga. Ralph preceded her in death on April 11, 2005.
Betty is survived by her son, David Miller and wife, Margaret, of Granite Bay, Calif.; her daughter, Helen Woerner and husband, Edward, of Lyndon, Kan.; five grandchildren, Rory Miller, Kyle Miller, Kelli Miller Lanzi, Elke Riedlecker and Eva Riedlecker Wolfe and husband, Jesse; two great-grandchildren, Annika Langston and Jurgen Wolfe; and her sister, Peggy Gumplo
Betty was cremated and inurnment will be in Peoria at a later date.
