CARBONDALE, Kan. – Henry J. Hohn, 74, of Carbondale, Kan., died June 22, 2020, at his home. He was born July 7, 1945, in Topeka, Kan., the son of Henry F. and Gladys “Stetna” Hohn.
Henry graduated from Topeka High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a lifelong member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
Henry owned and operated Joseph’s Hair Salon, and later worked at Washburn University.
He is survived by four brothers, John (Ila) Hohn, Kenneth (Betty) Hohn, Eugene Hohn and Phillip Hohn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry F. and Gladys; and a sister, Mary Force.
A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Following the rosary, the family will receive friends until 5 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
