Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn has reported a man was injured after his car collided with a tractor early this morning near Burlingame, Kan.

A sheriff’s office press release said officers responded to the accident about 6:50 a.m. Aug. 6, 2020, on U.S. Highway 56 near 189th Street. The report said Bryan Zeigler, 50, of Burlingame, was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry and struck the back of a 1980 John Deere tractor driven by Dennis Reamer, 67, Burlingame. Zeigler was transported to a Topeka hospital by Osage County EMS, with his condition unknown.

The Osage County Sheriff’s is conducting the investigation. Osage County fire districts No. 6 and No. 2 assisted at the accident scene.
