CARBONDALE, Kan. – Nancy G. Urban, 82, of Carbondale, Kan., passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at Brookside Manor, Overbrook, Kan. Nancy was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Warren, Ark., the daughter of Lance and Becky (Houston) Mack.

Nancy graduated from Hayden High School, Topeka, Kan.

Nancy married Cecil Urban, April 8, 1961; he preceded her in death in 2005. Nancy and Cecil lived and raised their family in rural Overbrook. Nancy worked at Brewster Place for many years. She was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Scranton, Kan.

Nancy is survived by two sons, Jacob (Sharon) Urban and Cecil John (Renee) Urban, both of Carbondale; four daughters, Anna (Michael) Ard, Carbondale, Connie Jo Penner, Mansfield, Penn., Tina (John) Haid, Meriden, Kan., and Kathy (Colin) Adams, Carbondale; a brother, Joe (Kathy) Mack, Topeka; a sister, Bridgette Mack, Wichita, Kan.; and 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, south of Scranton. She will lie in state 12-5 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home.
