It’s fall! And it’s 2020! So what could be better than a fall festival the likes of which you’ve never seen: the Lyndon Fall Festival celebrates the town’s 150th anniversary this year. The community plans an all day sesquicentennial celebration Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, with events going on 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
For the early birds, Lions Club will serve up pancake breakfast 7-9 a.m., kicking off the day’s food sales.
Events will be ongoing on the courthouse lawn, including townsfolk in period dress, kids games, mountain man camp, library book sale, touch-a-truck, and other activities. The evening finale will be presented by the Highway 75 Band, with a concert 6-10 p.m.
