Linda Jo Wright, 64, Osage City: July 25, 2020 – Oct. 9, 1955

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Linda Jo Wright, 64, of Osage City, Kan., passed away July 25, 2020. She was born Oct. 9, 1955, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Marjorie and Eldon Wright.

Linda grew up in Topeka.

On January 1, 1974, she became the life partner of Richard “Pete” Peterson. He passed away in April 2018.

As an adult, Linda lived in Burlingame, Kan., for many years, and later Alto, N.M. After Pete passed away, she returned to Kansas and lived at Osage City until her passing. Through the years, Linda always had dogs and cats. She loved to quilt and sew. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sister, Marsha Banks (Mark), of Topeka; and several nieces and nephews, Jennifer Rafferty (Ryan), Dawn Chapman (Jordon), and Kyle Dawdy, and her great nephew, Alex Dawdy.

Linda was preceded in death by her mom, Marjorie, and her brother, Thomas.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka. Condolences can be left at www.davidsonfuneral.com.
