Bruce Tevis, 62, Lyndon: March 11, 1958 – Oct. 5, 2020

LYNDON, Kan. – Bruce Tevis, 62, passed away on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at his home in Lyndon, Kan. He was born March 11, 1958, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Lee and Ira Taylor Tevis.

Bruce had lived most of his life in the Lyndon community. He graduated from Lyndon High School in 1976. Bruce worked most of his life in construction and was a crane operator for many years.

Bruce was preceded in death by his son, Jeremiah Tevis, on Oct. 2, 2004; parents, Lee and Ira; sister, Nancy Abel; and brother, Charles (Gene) Tevis.

Bruce is survived by his son, Jamison Tevis, of Lyndon; brother, Jimmie Tevis, Scranton, Kan.; sister, Linda Osborn, Carbondale, Kan.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Bruce’s family will meet friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451. Inurnment will be in Melvern Cemetery at a later date.
